AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CITY GOVERNMENT OF ORMOC TO ESTABLISH AND OPERATE THE CITY COLLEGE OF ORMOC, DIRECTING ITS GOALS AND OBJECTIVES, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION:
  1. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management
  2. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Office Administration

COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCES:
  1. Bachelor of Science in Social Work
  2. Bachelor in Public Administration

QUALIFICATION PROCESS/ADMISSION

The City College of Ormoc (CCO) shall have a system of admission which shall facilitate the enrollment of students regardless of sex (gender), religious beliefs, ethnicity, cultural orientation, economic status, or political affiliation. Provided, however, that the priority of admission shall be given to the bonafide residents and registered voters of Ormoc City and to those parents and/or guardians who work and pay their taxes to the City, subject to rules and regulations of admission and retention prescribed by the CCO Board of Trustees.


REGISTRATION

After the applicants submitted all the requirements/credentials and successfully passed the entrance examination, in case of new students, they shall be officially registered/enrolled in the curriculum year or course they have chosen. No students shall be registered later than the date specified in the school calendar except under reasonable and justified circumstances to be determined by the College Dean but not to exceed five (5) days. However, enrollment may be extended at the discretion of the College President upon recommendation of the Vice President for academic Affairs.
